2nd Annual 2,000-Mile Charity Bike Ride

Pedaling Toward Justice, One Mile at a Time

The 2025 Pedaling Against Ponzis charity ride marked a turning point in the fight for victims of financial fraud.

Aaron and Rebecca Novinger, accounting firm owners and founders of PonziRelief.org, successfully completed their second annual 2,000-mile ride from Dallas, Texas to Washington, D.C., raising national awareness for families devastated by Ponzi schemes and advocating for meaningful, lasting relief.

This year’s ride went beyond awareness.

Along the route and in Washington, D.C., Aaron and Rebecca met directly with members and staff of the Senate Finance Committee, bringing real stories from real victims into rooms where policy decisions are made. Their advocacy focused on one critical issue: saving IRS Form 4684, Section C, a vital tax provision that allows Ponzi scheme victims to deduct theft losses and begin rebuilding their lives.

    Real Impact. Real Progress.

    Because of this year’s ride:

    • Victims’ stories were delivered directly to federal lawmakers
    • Momentum was built to protect Form 4684 Section C from expiration
    • Thousands of Americans added their names to the petition in support
    • Countless families felt seen, heard, and no longer alone

The 2024 and 2025 rides were dedicated to victims of the StarGrower Ponzi scheme, but the impact has extended far beyond one case. Each mile pedaled represents families who lost retirement savings, businesses, and years of trust—and who now have a voice.

Aaron and Rebecca’s mission isn’t symbolic. It’s practical, policy-focused, and personal.

    The momentum continues.

In April 2026, Aaron and Rebecca will launch the 3rd Annual Pedaling Against Ponzis cross-country ride, returning to the road with renewed urgency and growing national support. This next ride will build on the progress already made, expand outreach, and push harder than ever to secure long-term protections for victims of financial crimes.

    More miles.
    More meetings.
    More voices amplified.

Until Ponzi victims no longer have to fight alone.

      Letter to President Trump

      Dear Mr. President,

We need your help! Please save IRS Form 4684 titled: Casualties and Thefts SECTION C—Theft Loss Deduction for Ponzi-Type Investment Scheme. It's due to expire at the end of this year and it's helping thousands of families by giving real, much needed assistance!

Mr. President, thousands of hardworking Americans—many of them seniors who spent their lives building this country—are facing financial ruin because of criminals who have stolen their life savings through Ponzi schemes.

But right now, there is a safety net—IRS Form 4684, Section C, which allows victims to recover up to 95% of their financial losses from these devastating schemes. Without this provision, these families will have nothing left.

This crucial lifeline is set to expire at the end of this year. If Congress doesn’t act, these families will be left with no way to recover, no justice, and no hope.

Mr. President, you have the power to change this.
You can demand that Congress extend this protection and ensure that victims of financial crimes aren’t left behind.

Your leadership can make the difference between families rebuilding their lives or losing everything. The Taxpayer Certainty and Disaster Tax Relief Acts of 2019 and 2020 provided critical support for these Americans—we must not let these protections vanish!

Mr. President, stand with Aaron and Rebecca and these families—join us in protecting their future and ensuring justice prevails.

      Sincerely,
      Concerned Ponzi Victims
